An off-duty Prince William County VA police lieutenant in Woodbridge spotted and detained a man who was later charged with armed robbery and the murder of a Woodbridge man who was walking his dog at about 9:40 p.m. Feb. 20.

On Monday, Feb. 18 at 10:57 p.m. Prince William County Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to a reported fire in a third floor apartment located in 11211 Lady Jane Loop in Manassas. Sixty residents were displaced. Five people needed observation or medical treatment. Preliminary damage estimate is $500,000.

There were four occupants inside a Woodbridge residence when a stolen vehicle crashed into the home, this morning, Feb. 19. Responding officers removed the residents from the home. No injuries were reported. The Red Cross was called to assist with the displaced family.
