Congressmen Gerry Connolly and Jim Moran have introduced legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives to study extending Metrorail into the Woodbridge area of Prince William County, the US 1 corridor of southern Fairfax County, and the Centreville area in western Fairfax County.

On February 28th at 11:07AM, Prince William County police responded to the 10600 block of Lake Jackson Dr in Manassas (20111) for a single vehicle crash. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

A suspect arrested in connection with a North Carolina bank robbery has also been charged in connection with the Feb. 23 robbery of the Burke & Herbert branch bank on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. The suspect will be extradited to Prince William County VA.
