PWC School Board okays new student management system; it will go live for 2019-20 school year

Prince William County Public Schools is getting a new student management system (SMS) that will deliver what school officials called "dramatic improvements" in support for students, teachers, parents, and a wide range of departments, when it goes live in the 2019-20 school year. The new system will cost taxpayers nearly $10 million – $9,701,364 to be exact, according to Diana G. Gulotta, communications director for the school division.

Va. vehicle inspectors to place stickers on left corner instead of center starting Jan. 1

Effective Jan. 1, 2018, Virginia state inspection stickers will no longer be affixed to the bottom center of a vehicle’s windshield. Due to new innovations in the automotive industry, the state inspection stickers will be placed in the bottom left corner of the windshield, when viewed from inside the vehicle.

Police identify suspect vehicle; now vehicle and driver sought in November fatal crash in Triangle

On December 5 at 12:20PM, a Prince William County School Resource Officer responded to Beville Middle School located at 4901 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to begin an investigation into a robbery which occurred on school property the day prior, on December 4, at approximately 1:35PM.
