Suspect apprehended in Oct. 9 abduction and sexual assault of girl, 11, on her way to school

During the extensive investigation, Prince William County Police Department detectives from the Special Victims Bureau and Violent Crimes Bureau were able to identify the suspect involved in the abduction of a girl on her way to school that occurred in the 14200 block of Essex Dr in Woodbridge in the morning hours of Oct. 9.

Man dies from injuries sustained in July accident on Old Bridge Road; police reopen case

On July 7 at 10:59PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Old Bridge Rd and Rolling Brook Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a crash. The investigation revealed that a driver of a 1993 Toyota Standard was traveling westbound on Old Bridge Rd and attempted to make a left turn onto Rolling Brook Dr., according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok.

Police broadcast lookout for man who grabbed girl on way to school and assaulted her

At 8:14AM, officers responded to the 14200 block of Essex Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an abduction. The investigation revealed that the victim, a juvenile girl, was reportedly walking to school along Essex Dr near Radford Dr when an unknown man approached and grabbed her.
