As officers were arriving in the area to which they were dispatched for a shots fired call, a suspect began shooting at them with a rifle, striking a police cruiser multiple times.

When officers arrived on scene, they located two males inside of a vehicle that had driven over a curb into a wooded area. Both victims were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Off. Nathan Probus, police department spokesman on the scene.
