Prince William County Planning Office has issued an advisory that it is closely monitoring the possibility of hazardous weather conditions anticipated for tomorrow, Wednesday, February 20, 2019, and may cancel the advertised Planning Commission hearing and work session.

The Prince William County Police Department, in conjunction with Manassas City Police and additional law enforcement resources, are actively investigating an anonymous threat that was posted on Instagram and brought to the attention of police on the evening of February 8, according to Sgt. Jonathaan Perok, police department spokesman.

Visitations and a memorial service for Prince William County Supervisor John Jenkins will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12, and Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge.

Paul Ebert, Virginia's longest-serving Commonwealth's Attorney with more than 50 years of service, has announced that he will not seek reelection in 2019. Ebert is perhaps best known for his experience and expertise in investigating and prosecuting homicide cases, particularly death-penalty cases.
