Medical Examiner rules dead man’s injuries were self-inflicted in Woodbridge incident

On December 30, following an autopsy of the 27-year-old man who died after being was found in the roadway near the intersection of Dale Blvd and the I95 northbound ramp in Woodbridge (22191) on December 28, the injuries to the deceased were determined to be self-inflicted.

Working smoke alarms save house in Woodbridge

House Fire at 14000 blk Fisher Ave. Woodbridgea at 9:44 AM on Dec.. 18, 2023 Yesterday, units were summoned to the above location for residents observing smoke and smelling something burning behind a dryer in the basement. Crews arrived and extinguished a small fire in the wall. The home sustained minimal damage. No injuries were reported. Three (3) adults were displaced. The Fire Marshal's Office determined the fire was caused by an electrical failure. The Prince William County Fire and Rescue System urges all homes to have smoke detectors. This home was equipped with smoke detectors that properly functioned during the incident. PWC Police identify deceased victim of Oct. 6 stabbing in Woodbridge

Following the notification of a next-of-kin ,Prince William County Police have identified the victim killed in an Oct. 6 stabbing as Jeremy David Lewis, 43, of Dumfries. The incident occurred at the Dale Forest Apartments located in the 14300 block of Wrangler Ln. in Woodbridge (22192).

County Police investigate murder in Woodbridge

On Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:15AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Dale Forest Apartments in the 14300 block of Wrangler Ln. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an injured person call. Officers located the victim, a 43-year-old man, inside the apartment suffering from a laceration to the upper body. Fire and rescue personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
