Prince William County government, in conjunction with the Prince William Health District, Virginia Department of Health and Mako Medical Laboratories, is offering free, drive-thru testing for COVID-19 on Friday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hylton Memorial Chapel, 14640 Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge. Gates will open at 8:30 a.m. and tickets distributed on a first-come, first-served basis with an allocated return time. To manage traffic flow in and around the chapel, those interested in attending should arrive at 8:30 a.m.

On Saturday, May 23, 2020, a 49-year-old man, reported to police that he was robbed by a male acquaintance, identified as the accused, following a physical altercation. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim and damaged a vehicle. The accused then took the victim’s backpack before getting into a vehicle occupied by a female driver.

On May 20 at 2:01PM, officers responded to the 1700 block of Old Bridge Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 38-year-old woman, reported to police that she arranged to sell a piece of jewelry to an unknown person, later identified as the accused, via the social media app “Let Go.”

Wednesday (5/20) through Friday (5/22) of this week, one such free sites will be at Kilby Elementary School, which is located at 1800 Horner Road, Woodbridge, VA, 22191. Testing will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You will be asked if you have symptoms and testing may be limited to those who indicate they do.

Responding officers located the victim, a 23-year-old woman, inside of the residence with a significant facial injury.
