Medical Examiner rules dead man’s injuries were self-inflicted in Woodbridge incident

On December 30, following an autopsy of the 27-year-old man who died after being was found in the roadway near the intersection of Dale Blvd and the I95 northbound ramp in Woodbridge (22191) on December 28, the injuries to the deceased were determined to be self-inflicted.

Update: Police identify adult victim in double shooting

Detectives from the Prince William County Police Department's Homicide Unit have determined this was not a random incident. No arrests have been made. The investigation continues. This is Prince William County’s 6th homicide of 2014.

Shooting Investigation – On November 6th at 4:33PM, officers responded to the Wal-Mart located at 14000 Worth Ave in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the store and approached the jewelry counter. During the encounter, the man displayed a hammer in each hand and began breaking the glass jewelry counters.

On October 21st at 6:58PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 13400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian.
