Tree planting and tree giveaway Oct. 16 at Bristoe Station

Join KPWB, the Arbor Day Foundation, and AWS InCommunities for a tree planting and tree giveaway 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Volunteers will be planting trees throughout the Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park, while 50 trees will be given to community members on a first come, first serve basis.

On Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 at 11:17AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to Youth for Tomorrow located at 11835 Hazel Circle Dr. in Bristow (20136) to investigate an assault.

On June 21, 2021 investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit obtained charges against the driver of the 2002 Honda Civic involved in the fatal collision that occurred in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and University Blvd in Manassas (20110) on April 4, 2021. One was killed and four were hurt.

Police charge runner with assaulting women out for walks in Bristow neighborhood

On April 21 at 1:40PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Tartan Hills Pkwy and Correen Hills Dr. in Bristow (20136) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 55-year-old woman, reported to police that while walking in the above area, an unknown man approached her from the opposite direction. When the victim turned, facing away from the sidewalk to tend to her dog, the man assaulted the victim and made a brief comment before continuing to run on the sidewalk.

On April 4 at 5:11PM, investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of the Prince William Pkwy and University Blvd in Manassas (20110) to investigate a crash.

On Sunday, Dec. 27 at 10:50PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 10231 Carnoch Way in Bristow (20136) to investigate a robbery.

Observation platform ready for use at Innovation Pond

The long awaited observation platform is now “open for business” at Innovation Pond at the end of Discovery Boulevard (in Bristow/Manassas), according to a news release from Prince William Conservation Alliance.
