The “Alternative Education” School Naming Committee will hold a community input session to receive name suggestions for the “Alternative Education” School, also known as “Non-Traditional School,” currently under construction at 14550 Aden Road, in Manassas. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 27, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Colgan High School in Manassas.

On April 29, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Manassas City Police will be partnering with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked, according to a notice from Manassas City Police Department.
