Arts of Life Charities (AOLC) are hosting an Oct. 28 "Lifting Others Up" gala at Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas to benefit the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry. Tickets are on sale through Oct.19.

On September 3, 2023, the third suspect sought in connection to the gang related abduction that was reported to have occurred in the area of Rixlew Ln. and Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) on May 7, 2018, was arrested. The suspect, who was a juvenile at the time of the incident, was taken into custody without incident. Two other men were previously arrested in October 2018, in connection with the investigation.

Prince William County police have arrested a Manassas man in connection with the Aug. 25 stabbing death of another man in Manassas.
