Police investigate fatal crash at Lomond South and Spotylvania St. in Manassas early Oct. 22

The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2020 Dodge Challenger was traveling northbound on Lomond South Dr. at a high rate of speed, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crossed over the center line, striking two unoccupied parked vehicles - a 2014 Toyota Sienna and then a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder.

Girl, 7, dies from injuries sustained in Oct. 12 crash in Manassas

According to First Sgt. Jonathan Perok, public information supervisor, the investigation revealed that the driver of a 2003 Toyota Camry was attempting to make a left turn on a yellow light from northbound Hoadly Rd onto Galveston Ct when the vehicle crossed paths with a 2005 Subaru Forester that was traveling southbound on Hoadly Rd through the intersection, also with a yellow light.
