Prince William County VA Police are investigating a number of recent residential break-ins in various areas of the county.

At approximately 12:50 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2015, a male subject entered TD Bank (8401 Digges Rd) and demanded money from the teller. After leaving with an undisclosed amount of money, the subject fled on foot towards the area of Bruton Parish and Plantation Ln. A Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) Winter Solstice banner has been placed in Nelson Park on Sudley Road in Manassas.

Habitat for Humanity Prince William County is closing its current location at 9506 Center Street, Manassas on December 31. On Jan. 23 it will reopen in the former Food Lion space at 10159 Hastings Drive, at the corner of Hastings Drive and Dumfries Road near the Fairgrounds. In preparation for the opening, Habitat is holding a “Stock the ReStore” donation drive.

The Manassas Regional Airport is in the Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA). This means that within five nautical miles of the airport, you will need a Certificate of Authorization (COA) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly a drone or model airplane in this airspace.
