The Prince William Republican Committee will meet at Park Valley Church in Haymarket tonight so Gainesville District Republicans can choose a candidate for Gainesville Supervisor. Carol Fox, the GOP's Gainesville District chairman, will chair tonight's meeting. The candidate will be on the ballot in a Feb. 21 Special Election being held to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Pete Candland.

It is getting dark earlier each day which means it is more difficult for drivers to see pedestrians and bicycle riders--especially the ones who wear dark coats.
