Student inventions to be showcased at Mountain View Elementary March 15

In collaboration with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, Mountain View Elementary students will present inventions on Tuesday, March 15 in the school gym at 6:30 p.m. Invention challenges suggested by mentors from the Patent Office include wearable functional clothing, snow removal, pet hygiene, and kids’ refrigerator.

Battlefield High School invites the community to attend the Haymaker STEM Expo on Saturday, Feb. 6, rescheduled from Jan. 23. The event will offer a multitude of family-friendly activities for students and adults of all ages. Admission is free, and the event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
