Historic manor house that has been vacant for about 50 years on the grounds of Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket has been renovated by two area families, the Garcias and the Leopolds. Now the structure has a new name, Inn at Evergreen in Haymarket, and a new function.

Traffic on US 15 in Haymarket will be moved to new bridge as part of Diverging Diamond Interchange project between 10 p.m. Friday June 10 and 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 11.

The SCC staff report issued June 2 noted [pages 17-21] that the potential customer may have to pay the excess cost, estimated at $115 million, between constructing an overhead route down I-66 and placing the project underground as the local legislative delegation and overwhelming numbers of the public requested, according to a news release from Del. Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing, endangered adult, Allison Elizabeth MOTT,30, who was last seen on May 12. She also goes by the name of Jules Rodriguez.

On May 1, the Novant Health UVA Health System facilities officially changed names. The name change affects Novant Health Haymarket Medical Center, Novant Health Prince William Medical Center, Novant Health Caton Merchant House, Novant Health Cancer Center and UVA Culpeper Hospital.

Ryan Ferrera, previously a social studies teacher at Battlefield High School who moved on to become an assistant principal, has been appointed principal of Battlefeld High School in Haymarket. He will replace Principal Amy Ethridge-Conti who is retiring.
