Woodbridge residents report hearing gunshots
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On March 15 at 12:52PM, officers responded to the 2900 block of Chinkapin Oak Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call, after residents reported to police that a gunshot was heard in the above area.
The investigation revealed that three unknown men were observed walking in a nearby wooded area, when one of them retrieved a firearm and fired a round towards Jed Forest Lane. The suspects then walked away and were last seen on Patrick Henry Dr. No injuries or property damage were located.
Suspect Descriptions:
All three were described as black males, between 18-20 years of age. The suspect with the hand gun was last seen wearing dark colored clothing, carrying a bright green colored backpack.
