Woodbridge man wanted in connection with shoe robbery, malicious wounding

Strong Armed Robbery | Malicious Wounding – On October 17th at 7:27PM, officers responded to the 12700 block of Lockleven Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery.

The victim, a 21 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated.

During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in the face knocking him to the ground.  The accused continued to assault the victim then took the victim’s shoes.

The accused fled the area prior to police arrival. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained for the accused.

Described as a black male, 6’1”, 185lbs with a thin build, dark complexion, with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for robbery and malicious wounding
