**INCIDENTS**
Fatal Crash Investigation – On November 19 at 2:57PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to Dumfries Rd and Nottingham Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
The investigation revealed that the operator of a 2013 Kawasaki 1000 motorcycle was traveling southbound on Dumfries Rd in the above area at an excessive speed when the motorcycle collided with the driver of a 1997 Honda Accord who was turning onto Nottingham Dr from northbound Dumfries Rd.
The operator of the Kawasaki 1000 was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. The other driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in this crash. The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. No charges are pending at this time.

The operator of the 2013 Kawasaki 1000 motorcycle was identified as Walter Roy GAYLE, 39, of Woodbridge
The driver of the 1997 Honda Accord was identified as a 68-year-old man of Manassas
Malicious Wounding – On November 21 at 12:30AM, officers responded to investigate a shooting which occurred in the area of Olde Port Ln and Graham Park Rd in Triangle (22172) earlier that evening. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile of Dumfries, was walking in the above area when he was struck in the leg by a bullet. The victim then called a family member who drove him to an area hospital for treatment and police were contacted. The victim was not cooperative with investigators. At this point, this incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
Armed Robbery – On November 20 at 10:37AM, officers responded to the Vocelli Pizza located at 16693 River Ridge Blvd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

Hispanic male, between 18 & 25 years of age, 5’5”, 140lbs, with a thin build
Last seen wearing a green jacket with orange lettering, blue jeans, and a black long sleeve shirt
Shooting into an Unoccupied Dwelling – On November 18 at 3:11PM, officers responded to the REMAX located at 14142 Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a destruction of property call. An employee reported to police that sometime between 5:00PM on November 17 and 9:00AM on November 18, two bullets entered the business through a front window and lodged in an interior wall. No injuries or other property damage were reported.
Residential Burglary – On November 18 at 12:26PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11600 block of Howitzer Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that after reviewing video surveillance, an unknown man was seen walking inside of the residence around 2:00PM on November 1. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry. Three chain saws were reported missing from an attached garage. The investigation continues.

A male of an unknown race and age, approximately 5’9”, 160lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing a grey jacket
Residential Burglary – On November 17 at 7:12PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 19300 block of Belleau Wood Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00AM and 5:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. Entry is believed to have been made into the apartment through an unlocked sliding glass door. No property was reported missing.
