Woodbridge man charged with strangulation and assault & battery

Strangulation | Assault and Battery – On May 7 at 8:17AM, Prince William County Police officers began an investigation into an assault that was reported to have occurred at the Sleep Inn located at 14080 Shoppers Best Way. in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that morning.

The victim, a 48-year-old woman, reported to police that between 11:00PM on May 6 and 4:00AM on May 7, she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim and grabbed her throat.

Eventually, the parties separated police were contacted. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Allan Jerod HARRIS, was arrested.
