Woodbridge famly member charged with sexual assault of a child
Aggravated Sexual Battery – On Dec. 29, 2020, Prince William County detectives with the police department’s Special Victims Unit, in coordination with Child Protective Services, concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the Woodbridge (22192) area of Prince William County between January 2015 and March 2018.
The investigation revealed that the victim, who was between 7-10 years of age at the time of the offenses, was sexually assaulted by a family member, identified as the accused, on more than one occasion during the 3.5 years timeframe. The accused recently disclosed the incidents to a family member who contacted the police. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jeremy Todd KARDATZKE, was arrested.
