Woodbridge and Bristow victims assaulted with pepper spray

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On October 18 at 2:25PM, officers responded to the 13300 block of Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 38-year-old man of Springfield, reported to police that he and the accused, identified as Norma Jean WALKER, were involved in a verbal argument over an ongoing dispute. During the encounter, the accused contacted an acquaintance, identified as Juan Rodriguez PRYOR, to assault the victim.

When PRYOR arrived, the victim attempted to run away. Both suspects caught up to the victim in a nearby parking lot where WALKER proceeded to “pepper spray” him in the face. Both suspects then repeatedly assaulted the victim and, at one point, knocked him to the ground. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The suspects were not on scene when officers arrived. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of both PRYOR and WALKER. Both parties were arrested later that evening without incident.

Assault with a Caustic Substance | Domestic Assault & Battery -  On October 21 at 12:07AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12100 block of Drum Salute Pl in Bristow (20136) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 47-year-old man of Bristow, reported that he and a family member, identified as a 17-year-old male juvenile, were involved in a verbal argument which escalated. During the encounter, the juvenile retrieved “pepper spray” and sprayed the victim in the face causing minor injuries. The juvenile then assaulted the victim, knocking him to the ground, before fleeing the residence on foot. Minor injuries were reported. Officers located the juvenile nearby and detained him without further incident. During a search of the juvenile, officers located marijuana in his backpack. Following the investigation, the juvenile was arrested.
