Women and children found bound and gagged in West Gate home

**INCIDENTS**

Burglary | Abduction | Sexual Assault– On May 24 at 3:16PM, officers responded to investigate an abduction which occurred at a residence located in the 10000 block of King George Dr in Manassas (20109) sometime earlier that day.

The caller reported to police seeing a woman bound and gagged inside a residence. When officers arrived, they made contact with the victim, a 33 year old woman of Manassas. As officers continued to search the residence, they located a 19 year old woman and two children, 5 year old and 4 year old boys, who were also bound and gagged. A third child, a 1 year old girl, was found unharmed. 

The initial investigation revealed that two unknown men forced entry into the residence through a rear door sometime after 2:00PM and demanded money. During the encounter, the 33 year old woman was sexually assaulted. At some point, the men bound and gagged all the victims before fleeing.

Both of the adult women were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. No injuries were reported to the children. The investigation continues.

**ARRESTS**
Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 24 at 3:49PM, officers responded to the hhgregg store located at 14500 Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22913) to investigate a suspicious person. Officers arrived and made contact with the accused.

During the investigation, it was determined that the accused was attempting to open a fraudulent credit card account. When the officers attempted to arrest the accused, he resisted and struck one of the officers in the chest then attempted to run away. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported.  Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Vivian DAVIS, 28, of 5311 Illinois Ave NW, Washington D.C.
Charged with1 count of assault & battery on a LEO, 1 count of credit card application fraud, 1 count of identity theft, and 2 counts of possession of a factitious license
