Woman charged with malicious wounding in Lake Ridge stabbing incident
Malicious Wounding – On November 9 at 6:17PM, officers responded to the Rolling Brook apartments located in the 1900 block of Briar Rose Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a stabbing.
The victim, a 48-year-old man, reported to police that he and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved two kitchen knives and approached the victim who attempted to disarm the accused. A struggle ensued and the victim sustained cuts to his hand.
Police were eventually contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Stephanie Ann HALEY, was arrested.
