Visit with dad prelude to charge of felony child abuse
Felony Child Abuse | Domestic Related – On February 23 at 8:10AM, officers responded to the Summerland Heights Apartments located in the 1900 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic.
The victim, a 22-year-old woman, reported to police that she went to the above address to drop off her 18-month-old baby with the father, identified as the accused. During the encounter, a verbal altercation ensued before escalating when the accused shoved the victim, who was carrying the child, into a wall.
The victim took the baby and exited the residence and contacted the police. No injuries were reported.
Following the investigation, warrants were obtained for the arrest of the accused, identified as Joshua Esabeo WEAVER. On February 25, the accused was located and taken into custody without incident.

Charged with 1 count of felony child abuse, 1 count of domestic assault & battery and 2 counts of violation of protective order
