Victim yells while inside vehicle, catches attention of passerby who intervenes
Abduction | Domestic Related – On Thursday, May 20 at 9:30PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Meridian Dr. and Melbourne Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic.
The investigation revealed that the victim, a 28-year-old woman and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, stopped in the above area where a verbal altercation escalated inside of the vehicle. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim. When the victim attempted to exit the vehicle, the accused grabbed her and prevented her from leaving.
While inside the vehicle, the victim began to yell, and caught the attention of a person nearby who intervened. The parties were separated, and the police were notified. The victim reported minor injuries.
Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Roberto Luis ESTRELLA, was arrested.

Charged with abduction and domestic assault & battery
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
