Victim identified in rack system collapse March 29 in Manassas warehouse

**INCIDENTS**

Death Investigation – On March 29 at 3:40PM, officers responded to the Reinhart Food Services warehouse located at 11777 Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (20109) to assist the Department of Fire and Rescue with an interior structure collapse. The preliminary investigation into the incident revealed that an interior rack system used to store food product collapsed on several employees. One of those employees was pronounced dead at the scene. Multiple other employees were injured and transported to various area hospitals for treatment. The exact cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office. The exact cause of the rack system’s collapse is being jointly investigated by detectives with the Homicide Unit, inspectors from the Prince William County Development Services, and investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. More information will be release when available. The investigation continues.

          The victim has been identified as Andy Yobani YOYA-RUBIO, 21, of Manassas Park

Malicious Wounding – On March 29 at 4:20PM, officers responded to the area of Neabsco Rd and Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 21 year old woman of Fredericksburg, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal alteration which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the hair then gouged her eye with one of his fingers. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The accused fled prior to police arriving in the area. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused.

Wanted for attempted malicious wounding
Described as a black male, 5’10”, 155lbs with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes
