Murder Investigation *ARREST– On November 7, detectives from the Prince William County Police Department’s Homicide Unit identified the suspect involved in the murder of Linh Thi Pham which occurred in the 7300 block of Atlas Walk Way in Gainesville on November 6.
The preliminary investigation into the incident alleged that the accused, identified as Bryan Christopher YU, fatally shot the victim, an acquaintance, as she was sitting in her vehicle after leaving her place of employment. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident, according to Officer Nathan Probus, Prince William County Police Department spokesman.

Charged with 1st degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Homicide Investigation [Previously Released]– On November 6 at 5:35PM, officers responded to a parking lot located in the 7300 block of Atlas Walk Way in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a shooting. Once on scene, officers located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead. Detectives from the Homicide Unit are continuing to investigate this case. Currently, no arrests have been made. At this time, this shooting does not appear to be random. More information will be released as it becomes available. This is Prince William County’s 20th homicide for 2016. *
