Arrests made in aggravated malicious wounding and indecent exposure cases

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On August 29 at 6:38PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 5500 block of Saint Charles Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 54-year-old woman, reported to police that she and the accused, a family member, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated, according to Off. Nathan Probus, police department spokesman, and during the encounter, the accused allegedly assaulted the victim with a hammer causing minor injuries. The parties eventually separated and the police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Alyssa Ann EVERETT, was arrested.

Indecent Exposure – On August 29 at 11:45AM, officers responded to the area of Dumfries Rd and Van Buren Rd in Dumfries (22025) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 29-year-old woman, reported to police that she was driving in the above area when she observed an unknown man driving next to her expose himself and make an obscene gesture. The victim contacted police and provided officers with a vehicle description. Officers located the suspect sitting in his vehicle a short time later in a parking lot in the area of Minnieville Rd and Spriggs Rd. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Robert Nicholas GONNELLA, was charged.
