Stolen Vehicle
On February 25,2023, Manassas City Police responded to the 9000 block of Mathis Avenue (Big Coin Laundry), in the City of Manassas, for a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that she left her car running and brought her laundry into the laundromat. When she came back outside her vehicle was missing. The vehicle is described as a 2013 red Toyota Camry (VA. Registration # VTJ-1977), with damage to the front driver side near tire. The two suspects were described as Hispanic males, one wearing a blue “hoodie” with black sweatpants and a black face mask; the other wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. This is an active investigation and anyone with information is encouraged to call Manassas City Police.
Citizens are reminded not to leave their vehicle running while unattended.
Weapons Violation
On Sunday, February 26, 2023, Manassas City Police responded to a report of suspicious person at the 9500 block of Technology Drive (Park and Space Self Storage), in the City of Manassas. Upon arrival Police located two male individuals who appeared intoxicated. In their possession were several concealed weapons, burglarious tools, and suspected narcotics. It was also discovered that multiple interior storage units been tampered with. One of the subjects was arrested and held without bond. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
