VDOT to close Pageland Lane for emergency pipe repair and repaving
Pageland Lane (VA 705) between US 29 and VA 234 will be closed, weather permitting, from 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21 through 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 for emergency pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The work involves excavation to replace the large pipe that has failed and then repaving the road.
A detour will be established via US 29 and VA 234. Signs and message boards are in place to alert motorists.
