USDA official; to visit to Enterprise Elementary on March 15
Nutritious meals have long been linked to children’s academic performance.
Healthful meals are also linked to overall health outcomes, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
PWCS’s accomplishments and implementation of USDA guidelines and regulations will be recognized by Undersecretary for Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services Kevin Concannon on a visit to Enterprise Elementary School on Tuesday, March 15.
Concannon will address students and staff during a school assembly at 9:30 a.m. and then observe the lunch operation in action at 10:30 a.m.
