UPDATES: PWC Police solve shooting, abduction and armed robbery; suspects arrested

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On October 17, Tony Curtis WRIGHT, was located and arrested without incident at his residence in Triangle. The accused was wanted for robbery which occurred in the 4100 block of Southway Ln in Triangle on October 16.
Arrested on October 17:
Tony Curtis WRIGHT, 33, of 4118 Southway Ln, Apt 25, in Triangle
Charged with robbery
Court Date: December 6, 2017 | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On October 16 at 12:20AM, officers responded to the 4100 block of Southway Ln in Triangle (22172) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 45-year-old man of Woodbridge, made arrangements to conduct a drug transaction with the accused in the above area. During the encounter, the accused implied he had a firearm then took the victim’s money before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused, identified as Tony Curtis WRIGHT. Attempts to locate WRIGHT have been unsuccessful.  The investigation continues.

Abduction | Domestic Related *ARREST – On October 16, Kevin MCDUFFIE was located and arrested in Washington, D.C. The accused was wanted for an assault which occurred in the 4000 block of Brady’s Hill Rd in Triangle earlier that day. The accused was subsequently extradited back to Virginia on October 17 and remains incarcerated at the Adult Detention Center.

Charged with 1 count of abduction, 2 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of assault & battery, 1 count of destruction of property, and preventing the summoning of law enforcement

Abduction | Domestic Related [Previously Released] – On October 11 at 9:47AM, officers responded to a trailer located in the 4000 block of Brady’s Hill Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate an assault.  The victim, a 40-year-old woman, reported to police that she was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, an acquaintance, which escalated. During the encounter, the accused took the victim’s cell phone as she was attempting to contact police. When the victim attempted to exit the residence, the accused grabbed the victim and prevented her from leaving. The accused took several power tools from the victim then fled the area in the victim’s vehicle which was later recovered in Washington, D.C. Following the investigation, officers obtained multiple warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Kevin MCDUFFIE. Attempts to located the accused have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Shooting Investigation *ARREST – On October 16, Randy Lamont JACKSON, turned himself into police without incident at the Gar-Field Station in Woodbridge. The accused was wanted for shooting which occurred in the area of Dale Blvd and Kerrydale Rd in Woodbridge on October 14.
Arrested on October 16:
Randy Lamont JACKSON, 35, of 504 Kings Crest Dr in Stafford
Charged with attempted malicious wounding and reckless handling of a firearm
Court Date: December 13, 2017 | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On October 14 at 9:00PM, officers responded to investigate a shooting which occurred earlier that evening in the area of Dale Blvd and Kerrydale Rd in Woodbridge (22193). The victim, a 50-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was driving in the above area when he noticed that the accused, an acquaintance, was following him. At some point during the encounter, the accused brandished a handgun and discharged several rounds towards the victim. The suspect then fled the area as the victim contacted police. No injuries or any property damage were reported. Officers responded to the area and located several shells casings in the roadway. Upon further investigation, officers determined that the accused and the victim had been involved in an ongoing disagreement. Following the investigation, officers obtained multiple warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Randy Lamont JACKSON. The investigation continues.
