Update on March 14 attempted malicious wounding - PWPD notified that suspect arrested in Fairfax

Attempted Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On August 24, the Warrant Unit was notified that Osha Chester COLLIER was arrested in Fairfax on July 14. The accused was originally wanted for an assault that occurred at a residence located in the 17300 block of Cusack Ln in Dumfries on March 14.

Further investigation determined that the accused continued to threaten the victim over the phone as well as disseminate explicit pictures of her without her consent. Additional charges were obtained at the time.

On June 9 at 8:40PM, officers also determined that the accused was involved in a robbery at a residence located in the 12500 Cantilever Ct in Woodbridge (22192). A 27-year-old woman reported to the police that an acquaintance, later identified as the accused, responded to her residence and asked for some money. During the encounter, the accused became agitated and assaulted the victim. When the victim attempted to call police the accused pushed the victim to the ground and then took her phone. The accused eventually returned the phone to the victim before fleeing the area in a vehicle. Following the investigation, additional charges were obtained.

Attempted Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On March 14 at 10:00AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17300 block of Cusack Ln in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that earlier in the morning, she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument inside the home. During the encounter, the accused held a knife against the victim’s neck while making threats to harm her. The parties eventually separated and the accused took the victim’s cellphone before leaving the home. Flowing the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Osha Chester COLLIER. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.
