Unidentified human remains found in Manassas pond
Death Investigation – On March 29 at 4:02PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate what appeared to be human remains located in a retention pond in the 7300 Williamson Blvd in Manassas (20109), according to a news release from Officer Nathn Probus, spokesman for Prince William County Police Department.
Officers with the PWCPD’s Dive Team are currently working to recover the remains which will be transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for further analysis and identification, the release stated.
The identity of the deceased will be released once confirmed and next of kin notified.
More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.
