UNderstanding roadside advertising signs
The Neighborhood Services Division of Prince William County’s Department of Public Works will host an informational session on roadside advertising signs on Wednesday, May 1, from 10:30 a.m. to noonp.m., Room 202 A/B, Development Services Building, 5 County Complex Court in Woodbridge.
The session will provide an overview of the current laws and help clarify Prince William County and Virginia codes as they apply to roadside advertising signs. Illegal roadside advertising can lead to receiving multiple summonses and fines.
The session will offer suggestions for area businesses, realtors, developers and builders on the legal placement of signs in Prince William County.
