Two stories burglarized in same Lake Ridge shopping center

**INCIDENTS**

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation - On August 13th at 3:22PM, officers responded to the area of Old Coach Rd and Rippon Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The victims, a 22 year old man, a 21 year old woman, and a 17 year old juvenile female, reported to police that they were traveling inside a vehicle in the area of Old Coach Rd. They reported that they were followed by a vehicle which was occupied by the accused, who was known to one of the victims, and three other unknown individuals. The victims reported hearing numerous gunshots which were directed towards their vehicle. There were no injuries or damages reported. During a canvass of the area, multiple shell casings were located. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a black male, 5’11’’, 170lbs, black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for 3 counts of attempted malicious wounding and 1 count of reckless handling of a firearm

Commercial Burglary- On August 14th at 3:05AM, officers responded to the AT&T Wireless Jungle located at 12423 Hedges Run Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an audible alarm. When officers arrived on scene, it was determined that the front door to the business had been forced open. There was no property reported missing. There is currently no suspect information.

Commercial Burglary- On August 14th at 3:06AM, officers responded to the Hunan Garden located at 12437 Hedges Run Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an audible alarm. When officers arrived on scene, it was determined that the front door to the business had been forced open. An undisclosed amount of currency was reported missing in addition to a laptop computer. There is currently no suspect information.

Residential Burglary- On August 12th at 3:58PM, officers responded to the 8000 block of Lanier Overlook Ct in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that between 8:30AM and 3:45PM on August 12th, an unknown person entered the house through a basement window which had been forced open. Miscellaneous electronics to include a video game console and games were reported missing. There is currently no suspect information.

**ARRESTS**

Attempted Malicious Wounding - On August 7th at 11:24PM, officers responded to the area of Old Centreville Rd and Somersworth Dr in Manassas (20111) to investigate a fight. The victim, a 33 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she located her daughter who had run away from home, in the area. She reported that when a minor altercated ensued with her daughter, the accused produced a knife and threated the victim. The parties were separated once police arrived and there were no injuries reported. Following the investigation, it was determined that the accused is a known acquaintance to the daughter of the victim. Petitions were obtained for the accused on August 12th.
