Two shootings into residential dwellings, PWC Police report May 14

INCIDENTS

• Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 8:38AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a destruction of property that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 9900 block of Arrowood Dr. in Manassas (20111) sometime between 10:30PM on May 13 and 8:30AM on May 14.

The investigation revealed at least one gunshot was fired, striking the home. A bullet fragment was recovered by officers. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

• Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On Monday, May 13, 2024 at 11:19PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 17000 block of Anns Brook Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call.
The investigation revealed an occupant of the home heard gunshots and a vehicle driving away. Damage was located inside the home. Shell casings were located in the roadway on Paper Mill Ln. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

• Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On Monday, May 13, 2024 at 9:51AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a destruction of property that was reported to have occurred in the 1700 block of Potomac Shores Pkwy in Dumfries (22026) sometime between 5:00PM on Friday, May 10, 2024 and 7:00AM on Monday, May 13.
The investigation revealed multiple shots were fired—striking a trailer and other construction equipment in the above area. Shell casings were located just off the roadway on Potomac Shores Pwky. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

ARRESTS
• Attempted Malicious Wounding | Brandishing of a Firearm –
On Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 9:52PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Westgate Apartments located in the 8100 block of Pointer Ln. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a brandishing.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 33-year-old man, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, a physical altercation ensued before the accused brandished a firearm towards the victim.
The parties separated, and the police were contacted. No injuries were reported, and no shots were fired during the incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Randall Scott TIEMANN II, was arrested.

Charged with attempted malicious wounding, brandishing of a firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon

•Strong-Arm Robbery – On Monday, May 13, 2024 at 12:48PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Wawa located at 15809 Richmond Hwy. in Woobridge (22191) to investigate a robbery.
The investigation revealed a man, identified as the accused, entered the refrigerated section of the store where he concealed an alcoholic beverage in his clothing before walking towards the exit. When an employee confronted the accused, he attempted to strike the employee before leaving the business.
Responding officers located the accused a short distance away where he was detained without incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Ralph EDON, was arrested.

Ralph EDON, 42, of no fixed address
Charged with robbery
