Two local deaths on September 11th
# Death Investigation – On Wednesday, September 11. 2024 at 4:09AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 15700 block of Cool Spring Dr. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a death.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 45-year-old man, was working underneath his vehicle when the vehicle dropped and pinned him underneath. The man was pronounced dead on scene. No foul play is suspected with the death. More information will be released as available.
#2 Death Investigation – On Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 12:23PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Exxon located at 2495 Prince William Pkwy, in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a death.
The investigation revealed a decomposed body of a presumed adult male was found between the dumpster and the surrounding brick enclosure. The body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to confirm the identity and determine the cause of death. No foul play is suspected with the death. More information will be released as necessary.
