Two juvenile suspects arrested in connection with Nov. 11 shooting in Woodbridge

**UPDATES**

Shooting Investigation *ARREST – On Nov. 13, detectives with the Prince William County Police Department’s Robbery Unit identified the suspects involved in a shooting which occurred in the 5300 block of Jessup Ln in Woodbridge (22193) on Nov. 11. The investigation revealed that the suspects arrived in the above area to conduct a drug transaction.

During the transaction, a male juvenile brandished a handgun and fired two shots, striking the victim in the lower body. Detectives with the Robbery Unit subsequently obtained warrants for the arrest of both of the suspects, identified as a 17-year-old juvenile male and a 17-year-old juvenile female. On Nov. 14, both of the accused were located and arrested without incident at their residence in Manassas.

Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On November 11 at 4:03PM, officers responded to the 5300 block of Jessup Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds to the lower body. The victim, identified as an 18-year-old man, was flown to an area hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. The initial investigation revealed that the victim was involved in an altercation with several unknown suspects. During the encounter, the victim was shot. After the shooting, the suspects fled the area. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. At this point, this incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.

**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery –
On Nov. 14 at 3:28AM, Prince William County Police Department fficers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 10420 Portsmouth Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The employee reported to police that two males wearing all dark clothing and masks entered the store and walked behind the counter. During the encounter, one suspect brandished a handgun toward the employee and forced him to open the register to obtain money. The suspects also grabbed cigarettes before fleeing the business on foot. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
Suspect Descriptions:
White male of an unknown age, 6’1”, with a thin build
Last seen wearing a dark jacket with a hood, gray backpack, greenish gray pants, tan hat, and a white half-mask

Black male of an unknown age, 5’9”, with a medium build
Last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood, dark pants, and a dark colored half-mask

Armed Robbery – On Nov. 14 at 2:15AM, officers responded to the 2300 block of Opitz Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim reported to police that she was walking in the area when she observed two unknown men standing beside a blue sedan. The men approached the victim and brandished a dark object, which she believed to be a gun. During the encounter, the suspects relieved the victim of her handbag. The suspects then fled the area in the blue sedan. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Hispanic male of an unknown age, 5’ 09”, with a medium build, curly black hair, and a mustache
Last seen wearing a white and red hoodie and blue jeans

Male of an unknown race or age, 6’00”, with a medium build
Last seen wearing all dark clothing

Attempted Residential Burglary – On Nov. 13 at 6:28PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 3100 block of Hemlock Point Ct in Triangle (22172) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that an unknown male was observed on a surveillance camera walking up to the residence at 2:59PM and attempting to open the door. The suspect then walked around to the rear of the residence, looked in the windows, and attempted to open the basement door. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing. The investigation continues.

Last seen wearing a blue jacket with a white line across the chest
