Two arrested in incidents involving knives in Manassas and Woodbridge

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding | Stabbing Investigation – On May 1 at 2:30AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 8100 block of Peakwood Ct in Manassas (20111) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 34-year-old man of Manassas, was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, identified as a family member, which escalated. During the encounter, the accused stabbed the victim multiple times with a knife. The parties eventually separated and the police were contacted. The accused fled the area prior to officers arriving. The victim was flown to an area hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. The accused was located and arrested later that morning at a residence in Manassas without incident.  The investigation continues.

Charged with malicious wounding

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On April 30 at 11:46PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1300 block of Eisenhower Cir in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 25-year-old woman of Woodbridge, and the accused, a family member, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed a knife and held it against the victim’s face and neck. The parties eventually separated and the victim was able to notify another family member who contacted police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Charged with attempted malicious wounding
