Two arrested in connection with sexual assault cases in Woodbridge

Sexual Assault Investigation – On October 21, detectives with the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred at a residence located in the 13200 block of Aldrin St in Woodbridge (22191). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 16-year-old female, was sexually assaulted by the accused, identified as an acquaintance, earlier that morning. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Alex CABALLERO, was arrested without incident.

Alex CABALLERO, 45, of the 13200 block of Aldrin St in Woodbridge
Charged with rape and sodomy

Sexual Assault Investigation – On October 19, detectives with the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred at a residence located in Woodbridge (22191). The investigation revealed that the accused had an inappropriate relationship with a family member, identified as a 14-year-old female at the time, sometime between January and April of 2017. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Eduardo MIRANDA MENDEZ, was arrested without incident.
