TV struck, bullet found in wall of Mantle Ct. residence

Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On April 2 at 2:20AM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to a residence located in the 5200 block of Mantle Ct. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call.

Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area. Responding officers located shell casings on the ground in front a residence that was struck. The investigation revealed that a bullet entered the home through a room on the second floor, struck a television and another wall before being located in an adjacent room.

A second bullet entered the home and was located in the wall of a room on the first floor. No injuries or additional property damage were reported. Residents reported two unknown vehicles were observed leaving the area shortly after the shots were fired.
