Strong-Armed Robbery – On August 14 at 5:06PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 18600 block of Amidon Ave. in Triangle (22172) to investigate a robbery.
The victim, a 43-year-old man, reported to police that while at the above residence, an acquaintance, identified as the accused, struck the victim before taking his property.
As the accused fled the area in his vehicle, he struck an unoccupied vehicle that was parked on the side of the street. During a canvass of the area, officers observed the vehicle traveling on Dumfries Rd. and conducted a vehicle stop and identified the driver as the accused who was taken him into custody without incident. The victim reported minor injuries. While searching the accused incident to arrest, suspected illegal narcotics and the victim’s property were located in his possession, reported Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer.
Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jeffrey OWUSU, was arrested.
