A “Listening Panel” headed by Gainesville Supervisor Pete Candland and members of the Prince William County School Board will conduct a town hall meeting on Wednesday,July 20, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Park Valley Church, 4500 Waverly Farm Drive. Haymarket, according to a news brief from Candland’s office at 7010 Heritage Village Plaza.
Attendees are asked to speak out on what they want the county to do in the next five tears to improve property values and to protect and to improve quality of life.
Other panel members at the strategy session will include PWC public safety officials, PWC strategic plan team appointees, PWC planning office officials and PWC transportation division officials.
Questions Candland hopes attendees will speak out about include • what the county should do to promote public safety, • what improvements in transportation, commuting and telecommuting are important and • how the county can improve its schools and increase the quality of education.
