Tow truck driver injured in Manassas
Malicious Wounding – On July 7 at 2:51AM, officers responded to investigate an assault which reportedly occurred in the 11200 block of Golden Leaf Cir in Manassas (20109) on July 6 at approximately 10:30PM.
The victim, a 35-year-old man of Stafford, reported to police that he works for a local tow company and was towing a vehicle in the above area when was struck in the back of the head causing him to lose consciousness.
The victim never saw the suspect or the object used to strike him. The victim regained consciousness and completed the tow.
The victim eventually received medical attention for the injury and contacted police. No property was reported missing.
