The Public Hearing scheduled for tonight at 7:30 p.m. has been postponed until the next regular Manassas City Council meeting on March 24 due to the snow emergency, according to Andrea Madden, CMC, Manassas City Clerk.
Several speakers were expected to appear and provide comments on the Elevated Water Storage Tank Demolition appeal; there is concern that the weather conditions could prevent interested parties from attending the meeting.
The City Council will still meet for a Budget Work Session scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room. During the work session, the Council will convene and officially move the public hearing to March 24 and either consider the Resolution on the Agenda regarding the State’s Budget or defer it until March 24 as well.
