**UPDATES**
Malicious Wounding | Assault by Mob | Gang Participation *ARRESTS– On February 18th, detectives from the Gang Unit were able to identify three suspects involved in the fight which occurred at Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge on February 15th. Detectives further learned that the altercation stemmed from an ongoing dispute between two rival street gangs. Following the investigation, detectives obtained detention orders against the three male juvenile suspects. All three suspects were located and arrested without incident on February 19th.

All three juvenile suspects were charged with 1 count of malicious wounding, 1 count of assault & battery, and 2 counts of gang participation

Assault by Mob [Previously Released] – On February 15th at 6:38PM, officers responded to Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) for a large fight near the food court. Initial reports advised that someone had a gun and that shots were fired. Multiple officers, including officers assigned to the mall, responded to the area and witnessed approximately 20 male juveniles actively fighting. The officers began to disperse the group, at which point, smaller fights began to break out. Officers were eventually able to disperse all parties involved, many of which had fled on foot. While on scene, officers located a victim of the initial fight, a 16 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, who reported to them that he was near the food court with friends when they were approached by another group of males. A verbal altercation ensued which escalated physically. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault. No other victims were located. Officers spoke to numerous witnesses of the fight and reviewed security footage. No armed suspect or shooting could be confirmed. No property damage, shell casings, or other evidence of a shooting were located. Detectives are continuing this investigation and are working to identify the other parties involved. This incident is not random.
**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On February 19th at 5:15PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7400 block Princess Carole Ct in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 5:00PM. Entry was made into the home through the front door which was forced open. No property was reported as missing.
**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding | Abduction – On February 19th at 9:29PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 12700 block of Hunterbrook Dr in Woodbridge (22192) on February 18th at around 6:00PM. The victim, a 25 year old female of Lorton, reported to police that she encountered the accused, a known acquaintance, after he pulled into the driveway of her residence located Lorton. During the encounter, the accused forced the victim into his vehicle and drove her into Prince William County. While driving in the county, the accused assaulted the victim several times and refused to let her get out of the vehicle. The accused eventually drove the victim to his residence on Hunterbrook Dr where he held her against her will. The victim was ultimately able to leave the residence. At that point, the victim ran on foot to the Sentara Lake Ridge Emergency Room located on Minnieville Rd where police were contacted. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The accused was located by the police at his residence and was arrested without incident.

Abduction | Assault & Battery – On February 19th at 11:00AM, officers responded to a business located at 13198 Centerpointe Way in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a 911 call. When police arrived at the location, they encountered the victim, a 58 year old woman of Woodbridge. The victim reported to police that after she entered the business she heard the front door open behind her and encountered the accused, a known acquaintance. During the encounter, the accused verbally threatened the victim and severed the wire of a phone used in an attempt to contact police. The accused also threw a computer on the floor and refused to let the victim leave. The victim was ultimately able to contact police using a cell phone belonging to the business. The accused fled the scene prior to police arriving at the location. Following the investigation, police contacted the accused who returned to the scene and was subsequently arrested without further incident. No injuries were reported.
