Third national platinum performance award for Mooney plant in Woodbridge
Prince William County Service Authority’s H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility in Woodbridge received a pat on the back for its role in keeping the Chesapeake Bay healthy.
The Mooney Plant recently won a third consecutive Platinum Peak Performance Award - which means it performance is perfect, from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA).
The wastewater treatment plant first earned this prestigious honor in 2014 after achieving 100 percent regulatory compliance for five straight years.
PW Service Authority will be recognized at NACWA’s Utility Leadership Conference on Monday, July 11 in Denver.
